Pst. Emmanuel Ehimika
The pain that comes with the news of your passage to glory is unbearable. You were indeed a father to all. You touched many lives with the gospel and with your demonstration of love and care.

Words would fail me to say how your life and Ministry imparted my life; God used you to set me on this path of ministry
PASTOR DIMKPA SOLOMON ALLISON
TRIBUTE OF A SPIRITUAL FATHER, MENTOR, FRIEND, TEACHER, GIVER, LOVER OF GOD AND DEFENDER OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, PAPA STEPHEN OLUWOLE AKINOLA.
2 KINGS 2:12 “AND ELISHA SAW IT, AND HE CRIED, MY FATHER, MY FATHER, THE CHARIOT OF ISRAEL, AND THE HORSEMEN THEREOF. AND HE SAW HIM NO MORE: AND HE TOOK HOLD OF HIS OWN CLOTHES, AND RENT THEM IN TWO PIECES.”
PAPA STEPHEN OLUWOLE AKINOLA, THE DISCIPLE WHOM JESUS CHRIST LOVES, WAS INDEED AND IN TRUTH, MY SPIRITUAL FATHER. I HEARD THE WORD FROM HIS MOUTH THAT BROUGHT THE SALVATION OF MY SOUL, SOMETIME IN 1993 WHEN THE HEADQUARTERS OF REDEMPTION MINISTRIES, WAS AT AFAM STREET, D-LINE, PORTHARCOURT, NIGERIA. THE GRACE OF GOD HAS SUSTAINED ME ALL THE WHILE. TODAY, I’M A PASTOR IN ONE OF THE BRANCH CHURCH.
AS MUCH AS THE SPIRITUAL CONTROLS THE PHYSICAL, I’M GLAD TO SAY THAT GOD USED HIM TO CHAT THE COURSE OF MY LIFE. I’M WHAT I’M TODAY AND WHAT I WILL EVER BE, THROUGH THIS VESSEL.
THOUGH I MAY NOT SEE HIM, HEAR THOSE REVIVING MESSAGES AND COME UNDER THE UNCTION IN WHICH HE FUNCTIONED, I’M CONSOLED THAT HIS LEGACIES LIVES ON. THE STORY OF MY SALVATION CAN NEVER BE SAID WITHOUT HIS NAME, PAPA STEPHEN OLUWOLE AKINOLA, BEING MENTION.
I BELIEVE WITH ALL MY HEART THAT THOUGH ABSENT IN THE PHYSICAL BODY, HE IS WITH THE JESUS CHRIST, WHOM HE PASSIONATELY AND RELENTLESSLY LABOURED FOR. I LOVE HE WOULD HAVE STAYED LONGER BUT GOD LOVES HIM MORE THAN I DO AND HAVE GREATER PURPOSE FOR HIM.
GOODNIGHT, THE FIELD MARSHALL IN THE VINEYARD OF JESUS CHRIST.
PASTOR DIMKPA SOLOMON ALLISON,
REDEMPTION MINISTRIES, OMOKU 2.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was Rev. Stephen Akinola.
The same came and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He taught me how to use the human tongue and how to depend on the Holy Spirit.
Senior Pastor, you fought a good fight of faith!

Sanitation Unit (Redemption Ministries)
We members of the Sanitation Unit of redemption ministries are deeply thankful to God who has blessed us with the gift of you. You were a father, husband, mentor, teacher and preacher blessed beyond measures and without limits.
Daddy, your conviction and Christian virtues are testamental evidence of God’s abundant grace which has left behind a blazing trial of exceptional and inspiring Christian life on us your spiritual children and on all who came in contact with you.
Daddy you compromised nothing in upholding the Name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and was fearless in preaching the sound and unadulteration of the gospel no matter whose ox was gored and living your life according to the precept of the word of God. No wonder the end product of all your sermons is the alter were forgiveness is obtained.
Father, as you embark on your final journey I’m your remarkable life, we join the chorus of your fellow angels and grateful hearts around to surrender and salute your life, your legend and your legacy. We feel blessed to live in the midst of your life and times. You were a father, mentor, husband, teacher and preacher like no other; and a physical angel manifest in human form.
You may be gone from our sight ; but you are never gone from our hearts. You will be greatly missed sleep on dear daddy till when we shall meet again never to depart
RIP DADDY

Tribute to Pastor Akinola
Pastor, rest in the Lord. Rest in perfect perfect peace. Thanks to God for your sweet loving heart.
May the LORD comfort our precious sister Matilda and pastor’s entire family.
May the LORD encourage the Redemption Ministries’ family.
Be comforted brethren for shortly our “Lord Himself shall descend from heaven” for all of us “with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
What a glorious experience!
“Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

A tribute to Rev Stephen Akinola – MENTOR, COACH & HERO (‘The Reverend Gentleman)
Our dear Pastor, in life he shone like the sun with a deeply loving and caring heart, he had just the right amount of grace round the bend. His charm and positive disposition would always remain a wonderful thought that keeps him in our hearts. We loved him. A man with open hands, open heart, open doors to his home and office.
God is in full control of all things, and has better plans for him outside this terra firma. There is no place on earth like heaven! The biggest moments lie ahead, on the other side of the grave. The short life on earth is just the beginning. It is the first letter, of the first word, of the first sentence, of the first chapter, of the great story God is writing.
I believe writing this tribute is very fitting since he was not only my Pastor, but someone I considered as my mentor, coach and hero. I cherished his personal ideals and values, and I would forever remember him. It was always great to meet this man with a heart of gold. He was always loving and willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in need.
Permit me to place on record that Pastor was a man of peace and he preached tolerance, love and forgiveness. A brilliant man he was! As a caring husband, loving father and dedicated man of God, he worked hard to support his family and all the people within the sphere of his influence.
I make bold to say that within his life period, he made a very significant impact on my life and that of my family. He had a way of creating a lively and relaxed ambience that could charm anyone meeting him for the first time and dispel any fears previously nursed.
As a mentor and coach, I understood from him that nothing great is created suddenly. He equally instilled in me the understanding that success does not occur overnight and neither does failure. Each is a process. The fact is, every day is preparation for the next. He showed me that the only adequate preparation for tomorrow would be to use today wisely.
He always made it succinctly clear that life was not a dress rehearsal and most times there would be no second chance. Benjamin Disraeli said, ‘The secret of success in life is to be ready when the time comes.’ I believe that in many ways, his legacies and values have rubbed off on his family and those who came in contact with him.
I thank God that he lived a much fulfilled life and has transcended this earth to the great beyond to meet his creator, although it is sad that I would not see him again or hear him call me the pet name, ‘Brigadier’.
May the peace and love of God surround the entire Akinola’s family and Redemption Ministries worldwide, and grant everyone comfort and strength during this difficult period.
Adieu, Adieu, Adieu – ‘the Reverend Gentleman’ Rev Stephen Akinola!!!
